ballet

All ballet students should have their hair dressed neatly in a bun for every class (including hair net and pins) with fringes secured off the face. Modern and Tap students should have their hair dressed neatly off the face, loose hair or pony tails are not permitted.

Ballet shoes should have a snug fit to stop students tripping and should be properly fitted at an outfitter.

A crossover cardigan is optional for all grades but should match the leotard colour, these can be ordered from our online store.

Please be aware that new satin ballet shoes will be required for students taking RAD examinations.

Girls

Pre-School, Pre-Primary and Primary:

• RAD approved pink meryl Freya skirted leotard with cap sleeve, or Sophia sleeveless skirted leotard;

• Pink/skin tone ballet socks;

• Pink/skin tone full sole satin ballet shoes with matching elastic.

Grade 1 and 2:

• RAD approved marine meryl Megan sleeveless leotard with belt;

• Pink/skin tone ballet socks (grd 1), seamless ballet tights (grd 2);

Grade 5 to Advanced 2:
